Exploring in Rome

Exploring in Rome

The saying .. “when in Rome”. When in Rome meaning endless pasta, pizza and wine! And of course incredible monuments, history and attractions.

Just over an hour on a train from Naples to Rome. Then a short drive into the centre where we stayed at the stunning 5 star Parco Dei Principe. A grand entrance and a grand hotel, pure Italian luxury awaits and certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Seeing the sites and attractions.. there is a LOT to see and I would highly recommend a weekend break, anytime throughout the year. It’s one of the most visited cities in the world for a reason!

Trevi Fountains– Rome’s largest fountain. Throw in a coin to ensure your return to the Eternal city!

St Peters Basilica – a church built in the Vatican city and the largest church in the world! Vatican is the home of the Pope and the smallest city in the World!

Pantheon – one of the best preserved buildings in Ancient Rome. This dome known as the ‘Temple of all Gods’.

Spanish steps – 135 step staircase known for their beauty, separating the Piazza De Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti.

Colleseum – Rome’s most iconic landmark and the largest amphitheatre. Used to host gladiator battles and other public spectacles.

A break to suit everyone, go it on your own or have your own tour guide, either way.. you’ll come back elated!
