I have just returned from Mauritius which was the first holiday I booked through Guru Travel. We had the most amazing time and I can honestly say it was by far the best customer service I have ever received from a travel agent, and I go away a lot!! Nothing is ever too much trouble for Paul and he is always happy to help, even when I ask him to do many variations of the same holiday. I have today received tickets for our next trip for which again I received A+++ service whilst booking! Huge thanks to Paul. Will 100% be booking again soon!

I really don’t know where to start and how to say thank you enough. Emily and Paul, from word go, have been nothing but helpful and supportive in assisting us with our booking. My husband and I have just returned from Mexico having been on the most memorable holiday of my life. We went to celebrate my 40th birthday and chose a holiday based on Emily’s recommendation. (TRS Yucutan, we cannot recommend this hotel enough) We have previously been to Mexico where we had a bad experience (not booked through Guru Travel) and were reluctant to return but following reassurances from Emily that this would be a different experience we decided to go ahead and book it.
I am so glad we did. Emily and Paul were so knowledgeable about the resort and clearly have a good relationship with the hotel as all the little extras that came with booking with Guru Travel were amazing. On arrival to the hotel our room was decorated with balloons, rose petals spelling ‘happy birthday’ on the bed and even a birthday cake along with a welcome letter from Emily and Paul. On my actual birthday all the staff seemed to know and I was presented with a special dessert in our restaurant with the waiting staff singing happy birthday to me, then on our final day we were found on the beach and asked to follow the ‘smile team’ for a surprise which was a beautiful 4 course dinner with cocktails and champagne and the most delicious meal whilst being serenaded by a gentleman with guitar whose voice could melt butter. All this took place on a boat which then took us round the water ways of the resort while we ate dinner. We honestly felt like royalty.
This was all arranged based on Emily and Paul’s request that our holiday be made special. I really don’t think you would get this kind of service with a High St travel company. The customer service from Guru Travel has been second to none and because of this we have now booked a family holiday though them to Cuba in June. We will also book all future holidays through Guru Travel as their knowledge of resorts and attention to detail is second to none!!!!! Thank you so much Emily and Paul. We will NEVER forget our unforgettable week in Mexico. x

I was a bit nervous about booking an expensive holiday through a Facebook based travel agent, as I’d always gone with high street travel agents previously, but it was when Emily took the time to call me at gone 9pm on a Sunday evening to talk me through the resort (in amazing detail, from personal experience) – I knew I had to book with Guru Travel. Emily even went as far as to send us her personal photos from the resort from when she’d been. They knew so much about Sandals (as we didn’t know why it was so much more money than other all inclusive holidays) and knew the answers to all my questions. Their price was also SUCH a great deal, better than we’d found anywhere else. The whole experience has been amazing and I can’t recommend them enough. Little thoughtful touches from beginning to end made our holiday feel like it mattered to them, and they were available on Facebook chat throughout my holiday to answer any queries I had. From start to finish this company have been fantastic. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the deal they had for Kuramathi in the Maldives so booked straight up. Having now returned from such an amazing place I feel as if the deal we got is even more to good to be true.
