Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – UK / Ireland → Entebbe
Depart from the UK or Ireland on an overnight flight to Entebbe.
Overnight: Night on board
Day 2 – Arrive Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe, meet your private guide and transfer to your hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring this charming lakeside town.
Overnight: Entebbe
Day 3 – Entebbe → Kibale Forest National Park
Travel west towards Kibale Forest National Park, passing rolling hills, tea plantations and vibrant local towns along the way. Optional cooking class with a local community available in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Overnight: Kibale Region
Day 4 – Kibale Forest: Chimpanzee Trekking
Set out early for your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by an expert ranger, track chimpanzee families through the rainforest and observe their natural behaviours.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Optional Bigodi Swamp Walk available in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5 – Kibale Forest → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Travel south towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, enjoying dramatic scenery and views of the Virunga Mountains. Lunch included en route.
Optional coffee experience with a local community before arriving at your lodge.

Day 6 – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: Gorilla Trekking
Today’s highlight is an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing and traditional welcome, trek through dense forest terrain in search of a gorilla family. Spend up to one hour observing these incredible animals at close range before returning to the lodge.
Optional canoeing experience on Lake Mulehe available.

Day 7 – Bwindi → Lake Mburo National Park
Travel onwards to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy a late afternoon game drive, spotting plains game such as zebra, giraffe, buffalo and antelope species.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Overnight: Lake Mburo Region
Day 8 – Lake Mburo National Park
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by time to relax at the lodge. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise on Lake Mburo, home to hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Overnight: Lake Mburo Region
Day 9 – Lake Mburo → Entebbe → UK / Ireland
After a final game viewing experience, travel back to Entebbe Airport, stopping at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping if time allows.
Depart on your return flight to the UK or Ireland.

Day 10 – Arrive UK / Ireland
Arrival back in the UK or Ireland, bringing your Ugandan adventure to a close.
