Day 1 – UK / Ireland → Hanoi
Depart from the UK or Ireland on an overnight flight to Hanoi.
Day 2 – Arrive Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy free time to begin exploring Vietnam’s capital, known for its colonial architecture, vibrant markets and rich culinary scene.

Day 3 – Hanoi City Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of Hanoi including the Temple of Literature, a walking tour of the Old Quarter, photo stops at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, One Pillar Pagoda and a visit to Hoa Lo Prison.

Day 4 – Hanoi at Leisure
Free day to explore independently or join an optional full-day excursion to Ninh Binh, featuring scenic countryside, boat rides through limestone landscapes and a traditional local lunch.

Travel by road to Ha Long Bay and board a traditional junk boat for an overnight cruise. Sail past dramatic limestone karsts, enjoy lunch and dinner on board and relax on deck as the scenery unfolds.

Day 6 – Ha Long Bay → Ho Chi Minh City
Begin the day with light breakfast and brunch on board before returning to Hanoi for your flight south to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to your hotel on arrival.
